This charming

cooked to order, using mainly local produce on its monthly changing
menus, accompanied by a comprehensive wine list and friendly service.
Blagraves House is the oldest house
in Barnard Castle. It is situated at the centre of this historic
market town's other main attractions, namely Bowes Museum, Egglestone
Abbey and the Castle itself.
With its heavily beamed ceilings
and large open fireplaces it has been playing host to weary traveller
and businessman alike for some 500 years. So why not dine where

The restaurant which seats a maximum
of 26 and the banqueting hall which seats a maximum of 45 are also
available outside our normal opening times for weddings, parties
and meetings etc. Opening Hours are Tuesday to Saturday 7.00 p.m.
